Aurora, CO—Choice Market opened a new store location at The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus that will be open 24/7. What’s unique is that this is Choice’s first Mini-Mart to harnesses artificial intelligence and vision systems to checkout customers without a cashier.

The store offers fresh meals, locally sourced groceries and everyday necessities.  Also located in the store is Choice’s Central, a Latin Fusion kitchen serving freshly made tacos, burritos and salads made on-site and available Monday through Friday.

Choice Market, with three other Denver locations, is guided by its corporate commitment to provide shoppers with locally sourced groceries, vegan choices and grab-and-go meals. NACS featured a Choice Market store in downtown Denver that’s located in a 350-unit apartment complex for an Ideas 2 Go segment in 2019.

Mike Fogarty, Choice Market’s founder and CEO, is passionate about bringing convenience and high-quality groceries to where they are most needed.

“Our decision to open at CU Anschutz highlights Choice’s commitment to provide fresh and healthy food to those that need it most. The medical community and CU students work tirelessly to serve the greater Denver community,” Fogarty said. “We couldn’t be more excited to provide these time-strapped first responders, students, patients and their families with high quality groceries and fresh meals.”

The Choice Market shopping experience is powered by Choice Now, a frictionless shopping technology that allows customers to enter their payment information on the easily downloaded Choice app, select their purchases and just walk out. AI-powered ceiling cameras determine what customers have purchased and automatically send an e-receipt to their phone.
