NACS Day on the Hill helps convenience retailers just like you share their story with lawmakers; to show elected officials that convenience matters. Join us in March to advocate for your business, and ultimately, all c-stores across the U.S. Your participation and support is the key to maintaining a strong voice in DC to protect our industry year after year.
NACS prepares you with the necessary training and resources, like videos, webinars, and briefing materials, before visiting Capitol Hill. The informational General Session that takes place the day before meetings helps you understand the issues and gives you the opportunity to network with industry peers from around the nation. Our goal is to train you to become an effective advocate, not only on your Hill visits but also in your community.
The team at NACS:
- schedules your Congressional meetings and pairs you with other convenience retailers and experienced advocates;
- prepares you with pre-reads, on site briefing materials and training on how to participate in a successful congressional meeting;
- provides you with information to share with your elected officials; and
- equips you with knowledge and skills you can apply immediately back home.
This conference goes beyond the surface, delving into the pressing issues shaping our industry landscape. It provides a paramount opportunity to understand how these issues impact your business operations and the legislative developments surrounding them.
You will have the opportunity to have invaluable interactions with fellow retailers who face similar challenges and share similar concerns. Together, you can exchange experiences, insights, and best practices, strengthening the collective resilience of our industry.
However, the most crucial aspect of this conference is the chance it offers you to educate Members of Congress. Your voice matters as a constituent - someone who experiences the daily grind firsthand. By voicing your perspectives and sharing your challenges, you enhance lawmakers' understanding of the issues they cast their votes on.
Your presence and input are critical to foster a thriving and supportive environment for the industry's growth.
In this short video you’ll hear from retailers just like you as they explain how easy NACS makes it to get involved at the NACS Day on the Hill.
