QSRs Launch More Valentine’s Menu Items

Dutch Bros released new pink-colored drinks; Krispy Kreme and Chick-fil-A focus on heart-shaped items.

Dutch Bros Coffee recently rolled out its new Pink Velvet Mocha and Luvstruck Rebel, which are available at all Dutch Bros locations while supplies last.

The Pink Velvet Mocha is a “flirty treat with a pink velvet inspired flavor complete with pink velvet frosting Soft Top,” and is available as an iced mocha, mocha freeze or shake. The Luvstruck Rebel is a “romance of blackberry and vanilla mixed with our exclusive Dutch Bros Rebel energy drink topped with a layer of pink velvet frosting Soft Top,” and is recommended as a Rebel energy drink or lemonade.

Over at Krispy Kreme, the QSR is gearing up for Valentine’s Day with a new Valentine’s Day collection, which are available in a custom Valentine’s Day-themed dozen box through February 14 at participating Krispy Kreme shops throughout the United States.

Krispy Kreme’s Valentine’s Day doughnut collection features four all-new doughnuts:

  • I Love You a Choco-Lot doughnut: “An unglazed heart doughnut filled with chocolate flavored Kreme, dipped in red vanilla flavored icing, topped with a chocolate icing ribbon and bow.”
  • Teddy Bear Cookies & Kreme doughnut: “An unglazed heart doughnut filled with Cookies & Kreme, dipped in chocolate icing, topped with a white chocolate bear face.”
  • You're Berry Sweet doughnut: “An unglazed heart doughnut filled with smooth, fluffy Kreme, dipped in strawberry flavored icing, topped with a red vanilla flavored drizzle and an XOXO sugar piece.”
  • Sprinkled With Love doughnut: “An Original Glazed doughnut piped with buttercreme flavored frosting and heart sprinkles.”

Meanwhile, Chick-fil-A brought back its heart tray options for Valentine’s Day. The QSR offers heart-shaped trays filled with select menu items, such as 30-count Chick-fil-A nuggets, 10-count Chick-n-Minis, 10-count Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Strips, 6-count chocolate chunk cookies or 12 chocolate fudge brownie halves.

Hardee’s is also getting in the spirit with heart shaped items—it’s offering heart-shaped Made from Scratch biscuits through February 15. The QSR also announced that iced coffee is permanently joining its beverage lineup. Available in 16 oz and 24 oz, guests can choose from caramel iced coffee or vanilla iced coffee.

Earlier this month, 7-Eleven announced several Valentine’s Day deals for the upcoming holiday: on February 14 only, those staying in will get $14 off orders over $30 on the 7NOW Delivery app with promo code LOVER. Also, on 7NOW Delivery, customers can have the “ultimate night” with comfort food, snacks and any 12-ounce Red Bull trio for $8.50.

Meanwhile Stewart’s Shops launched its Sweetheart Shake for Valentine’s Day. “Treat yourself or someone special to this limited-edition treat, made with our Cherry Loves Chocolate ice cream, at your local Stewart’s Shop. This flavorful, creamy cherry milkshake has dark chocolatey flakes and pieces of red cherries, drizzled with chocolate inside,” the retailer said.
