7-Eleven, Inc. is introducing the new Brr-Nana Slurpee, a banana-flavored Slurpee that enters the retailer’s lineup after “years of Slurpee drink fans clamoring for the return of a banana flavor,” 7-Eleven said in a press release. The flavor will be available all year in limited quantities at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores.
“At 7-Eleven, we’re always looking for new ways to surprise and delight our customers—especially when it comes to tastes that spark nostalgia and tap into niche flavor fandoms,” said Randy Quinn, senior vice president of total beverages at 7-Eleven Inc. “Banana is one of those flavors that customers remember and love, and we’re excited to bring it back and delight those who have been waiting for its return.”
The retailer said the new flavor blends a “creamy banana taste with a cool, icy finish” and is a new take on a classic, “delighting fans who have been waiting for the return of the popular flavor.”
7-Eleven also noted that even outside of the Slurpee station, customers “go bananas” for bananas—its family of brands sold approximately 50 million bananas last year.
Earlier this month, 7-Eleven introduced limited-time $5 chicken deals across its Raise the Roost, Speedy Café and Laredo Taco Company restaurants. 7-Eleven also launched a new lemon pepper glaze, which it describes as a “tangy blend of bright citrus and cracked black pepper.”
