Celsius is rolling out a new limited-edition seasonal flavor, Celsius Spritz Vibe, the company told NACS via email. “The latest flavor captures the excitement and essence of the winter season, transporting consumers tastebuds to an icy slopeside spot under the sun. Celsius Spritz Vibe captures all the winter-time feels,” Celsius said. The drink is described as a mix of citrus flavors in a Sparkling Snowball Frost flavor.
“We recognize the consumer demand and excitement for seasonal innovation, and we’re confident that Spritz Vibe will exceed expectations and deliver all the wintertime vibes, available now and for a limited time only [through December 2025] across the U.S. and Canada,” commented Kyle Watson, chief brand officer of Celsius.
Meanwhile over at BuzzBallz, the brand recently launched its new Grapes Gone Wild flavor. “Bold, bursting with flavor and bound to break away from the ordinary routine, Grapes Gone Wild is hitting shelves beginning this month and is a taste of pure purple nostalgia. Think grape slushies, colorful leg warmers and scratch-and-sniff stickers bottled up for grown-ups. This showstopper in a can brings back the wild side of grape and proves we’ve got the biggest Ballz in flavor,” the company said.
To celebrate the launch of Grapes Gone Wild, BuzzBallz introduced KettleBallz—a “collectible, playful twist on the classic kettlebell.” The five-pound, grape-scented kettlebell, modeled after a BuzzBallz Biggie, holds up to 1.5 liters of Grapes Gone Wild.
Grapes Gone Wild BuzzBallz are rolling out nationwide now in 187 ml, 200 ml, 1.5 liter and 1.75 liter sizes.
On the nonalcoholic side, non-alcoholic brewer Athletic Brewing Company launched a new campaign with celebrity chef David Chang.
Chang crafted five recipes designed to complement Athletic's non-alcoholic brews. From Crispy Baked Wings paired with Athletic Lite to Chang’s Bo Ssam served alongside Run Wild IPA, the collaboration with Chang “underscores Athletic's commitment to serving foodies and football fans who want to enjoy game day without compromise.”
Chefs David Chang and Andrew Zimmern were the 2024 NACS Show closing General Session speakers, where both chefs shared their take on the evolving role of food in convenience stores.
NACS Daily has been keeping an eye on the non-alcoholic drink market. Back in September 2024, NACS Daily reported that Molson Coors was bringing Naked Life, a non-alcoholic ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktail company in Australia, to the U.S. market in 2025, and the beverage is now available in the states.
