Wawa is running a limited-time offer featuring its chicken sandwiches, which will cost $5 now through March 22 at all 1,100+ Wawa locations, the retailer said. The $5 value deal includes all crispy and roasted chicken sandwich varieties, which can be customized.
“Wawa’s chicken sandwiches are a customer favorite. In fact, Wawa sold enough chicken sandwiches in 2025 to sell out [the Eagles] Lincoln Financial Field [in Philadelphia] 113 times,” Wawa said.
The $5 chicken sandwich offer complements Wawa’s ongoing $5 Big Breakfast Deal, which includes a hash brown, any size hot or iced coffee and a Sizzli breakfast sandwich for $5 from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wawa’s Sizzli varieties include: bacon, egg and cheese Sizzli bagel; sausage, egg and cheese Sizzli bagel; and the sausage, egg and cheese Sizzli burrito.
“We’re proud to offer satisfying meal options throughout the day at an exceptional value,” said Mary-Rose Hannum, chief marketing product officer. “For just $5, customers can customize their meals exactly the way they’re craving them—whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner.”
Last month, NACS Daily reported that Wawa has a new store under development in Straban Township, northeast of Gettysburg in central Pennsylvania. The retailer will construct a 6,000-square-foot store and gas station.
The new location is part of Wawa’s westward expansion in Pennsylvania—the company plans to build 40 more stores in the state over the next couple of years.
Andrew Baill, senior category manager, fresh beverages, at Wawa will be speaking at the 2026 NACS State of the Industry Summit April 14–16 in Schaumburg, Illinois. He will deliver in-store performance lessons from 2025. Sign up for the State of the Industry Summit here.
