What’s New at Mars?

From a partnership with Josh Allen to Twix Snickerdoodle, here is what’s new.

Snickers is teaming up with Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen to launch limited edition collectible Snickers and Snickers Ice Cream packs, each featuring Allen, according to the press release.

"I've always been a fan of Snickers, so putting my name—and my game—on these packs is a win," said Allen. "Whether you're taking the field or taking your fantasy line-up to victory, Snickers has your back when hunger strikes."

The limited-edition bars will be available nationwide starting this June, dropping ahead of preseason.

Mars is also launching its new Twix Snickerdoodle. "Inspired by the warm, cinnamon-sugar goodness of a classic snickerdoodle cookie, this new release taps into the deep well of nostalgia while embracing the current tastes and trends that fans crave," Mars said in a press release.

Twix Snickerdoodle combines "crunchy cookie, gooey caramel and smooth milk chocolate—and levels it up with a cinnamon-sugar swirl of snickerdoodle-flavored caramel." Mars said Twix Snickerdoodle is the third cookie-inspired flavor to join the Twix lineup along with Twix Cookie Dough and Twix Cookies & Crème.

Twix Snickerdoodle will hit shelves nationwide in July 2025 in single (1.4 oz) and share (2.8 oz) sizes.

Meanwhile, M&M’S this week unveiled its new global creative platform, “It’s More Fun Together,” according to a press release. “Reaffirming its mission to bring people together through the power of fun, M&M’S is doubling down on what it does best—delivering joy through its iconic candies, tapping into the humor of its beloved spokescandies and creating unforgettable shared moments,” Mars said.

The brand said the new creative platform is:

  • Relatable and fun: "The creative showcases real life examples of how M&M’S can bring spontaneous fun to any situation. With the help of our spokescandies, consumers will experience fresh storytelling that highlights how M&M’S shows up for our fans in relatable and ordinary ways."
  • Tastier than before: "M&M’S will highlight not only its product but also the mouth-watering flavors that make up the iconic portfolio of chocolate candies—from delicious chocolate to ooey-gooey caramel to toasty peanuts."
  • Global: "It’s More Fun Together is built to resonate in the 100+ countries where M&M’S are sold."

Last month, Mars debuted new products at the 2024 Sweets & Snacks Expo in Indianapolis, launching new sizes of some customer favorites.

  • M&M'S Peanut Butter Mega: the "latest, biggest innovation" from M&M'S, "M&M'S Peanut Butter Mega delivers a rich, peanut-buttery taste in a satisfyingly crunchy candy shell in every mega bite."
  • M&M'S Peanut Butter Minis: adding to the minis line, "M&M'S Minis Peanut Butter Milk Chocolate Candy brings the great taste of M&M'S Peanut Butter in a new fun size."
  • Skittles Littles: Skittles Littles feature the five fruity flavors of Skittles Originals, but now "in a smaller, more poppable form."
  • Hubba Bubba Mini Gum: this new iteration of Hubba Bubba gum gives consumers "a fun, new candy-like taste to enjoy through a mix of fan-favorite Skittles Original flavors."
  • Starburst Gummies: the new gummies "deliver the four classic chewy Starburst flavors, but in a gummy form and made with real fruit juice."
