GSTV announced its “Holiday Rush” tentpole this week, with exclusive content running on pump screens through December. Timed with Amazon Prime Video’s December 3 release of the “Oh.What.Fun” movie, Amazon MGM Studios and GSTV’s IGNITE Studios collaborated to create exclusive content featuring one of the film’s stars, Jason Schwartzman, GSTV told NACS.
Additionally, as part of the slate, GSTV said it will feature a special edition of the hit gameshow ‘Name That Tune,’ called ‘Name That Tune Holiday Hits,’ and exclusives from content creators Shira Lazar of ‘What’s Trending,’ who will host The ‘What’s Trending Holiday Shopping Guide,’ and Tank Sinatra, who will host a special holiday themed edition of “Tank’s Good News” called “Tanksgiving,” centered around giving back during the holidays. The company is also running a “Win $2,500 for Gas for a Year Sweepstakes.”
“The Holiday Rush slate was designed to entertain and inform holiday travelers as they hit the road for this season. According to a recent holiday insights study by GSTV, nearly half of consumers are planning to drive more during their holiday travel vs. last year and 60% of GSTV viewers are planning to drive out of town to celebrate at least one holiday,” GSTV said.
“For the first time, we’re offering consumers a bespoke holiday content line-up,” said Kristina Lutz, chief marketing officer, GSTV. “During the holidays, so many consumers are out and about, whether it’s for short shopping trips or travel to see family. ‘Holiday Rush’ delivers quick, entertaining moments for viewers to enjoy while fueling up. We’re especially excited that our sweepstakes will give five lucky viewers a joyful start to 2026 with $2500 for free gas for a year. The ‘Holiday Rush’ tentpole has also resonated with major entertainment companies like Amazon MGM Studios and leading brands, who are looking to reach consumers at this very busy, high distraction season.”
