Last week, Weigel’s opened its 88th store in Bristol, Tennessee, with made-to-order food, fresh grab-and-go selections and access to digital rewards through the MyWeigel’s Rewards program.

“This store represents an investment in the people of Bristol,” said Doug Yawberry, president of Weigel’s. “Every new location is an opportunity to serve, to create jobs and to become part of the community. We’re proud to officially open our doors here and look forward to building long-term relationships with our guests.”

EG America opened a new-to-industry Cumberland Farms location in Panama City, Florida.

The new store features a Krispy Krunchy Chicken restaurant, along with “fresh pizza, pastries, sandwiches, roller-grill favorites, iced and frozen beverages and state-of-the-art coffee brewing equipment,” the company said in a LinkedIn post.

“This location reinforces Cumberland Farms’ ongoing investment in the Panama City community by expanding convenience options and creating new local employment opportunities,” EG America said in the post.

Enmarket announced a new store opening in Kingsland, Georgia. “We’ve built a store designed around convenience, comfort and customer care. From quick stops to road-trip fueling, our team of friendly faces is excited to serve you,” the company said in a LinkedIn post.

Wawa has continued its Ohio expansion with multiple store openings this month in the greater Cincinnati area, reported WKRC news. The first store opened in Colerain Township on December 4, followed by another store opening in Union Township on December 5. The third location will open on December 12 in Deerfield Township.

Each grand opening featured a T-shirt giveaway for the first 100 customers in attendance and a free coffee of any size for all customers.
