Love’s Opens New Iowa Truck Stop

The location is 13,000 square feet and adds 70 jobs to Plymouth County.

OKLAHOMA CITY—Love’s Travel Stops has opened a new travel stop in Le Mars, Iowa. The more than 13,000 square-foot store adds 68 truck parking spaces and 70 jobs to Plymouth County.

“We’re excited to add our 10th clean and safe location in Iowa", said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love's. “Our team members will help get customers back on the road quickly and safely and are excited to serve Plymouth County, professional truck drivers and four-wheel customers.”

The location is open 24/7 and offers many amenities, including Arby’s (opening October 3); 92 car parking spaces; six diesel bays; RV dump station; propane; five showers; laundry facilities; CAT scale; bean-to-cup gourmet coffee; Fresh Kitchen concept; Mobile to Go Zone with the latest GPS, headsets and smartphone accessories; and a dog park.

In honor of the grand opening, Love’s will donate $2,000 split between Le Mars Community Schools and the Le Mars Police Department.

In January, Love’s said it plans to open more than 40 locations and add more than 3,000 truck parking spaces and 3,000 jobs in 2022.

In 2021, the company welcome 38 new locations, added over 3,000 truck parking spaces and donated several million dollars to support professional truck drivers, sick and homeless children, veterans and more.
