GREENVILLE, S.C.—The Spinx Company will host its 22nd Annual Spinx Run Fest on Saturday, October 29, featuring four different races for all ages and skill levels.

“We are thrilled to be a part of another Spinx Run Fest this year and celebrate 50 amazing years with the Greenville Track Club” said Stewart Spinks, founder and chairman of The Spinx Company. “50 years for both ourselves and GTC is a big milestone, we look forward to this event every year!”

Registration is now open, and people who plan to participate are encouraged to sign up online prior to the day of the event.

All races will start and finish at Fluor Field in downtown Greenville. This year’s races include the Swamp Rabbit Marathon, the USA Half Marathon, the Downtown 10k and the Big Pumpkin 5k. A refreshment and fresh food area, with post-race snacks provided by Spinx, will be available for participants in addition to prizes and giveaways following the event.

Sponsors of the 22nd Annual Spinx Run Fest include the Greenville Track Club, Bon Secours and Flying Melon Production.

The Spinx Company was recently honored with the first-ever FMN Fuels Innovator of the Year Awards by Fuels Market News Magazine. The Greenville, South Carolina-based c-store chain earned the award for a fuels retailer fewer than 100 locations.

The awards were determined by combining the criteria used in the annual OPIS/FMN Fuel Leaders issue that ranks retailers with a core focus on fueling efficiency, plus examining how retailers innovate with the fuel products and EV charging opportunities to meet future conditions that include the growth of net zero emission vehicles.

In August, Spinx was named the No. 1 Best Place to Work in South Carolina by SC Biz News and the Best Companies Group. Each year, these groups join to produce the Best Places to Work in South Carolina program. This initiative is dedicated to identifying and recognizing South Carolina’s most innovative and top-notch employers.

“Being recognized as the No. 1 Best Place to Work in South Carolina is one of the biggest honors we have been given over the past 50 years,” said Stewart Spinks, founder and chairman of Spinx. “At Spinx, we consider ourselves one big family and our people are the most important part of our company. Without our committed staff, we would not be where we are today. As leaders, making our teammates lives better is truly the only way we can make our guests’ lives easier and after all, at Spinx, that’s why we exist.”
