The Hershey Company is launching a Dubai-Inspired Chocolate Bar, a “limited-edition, social-media-inspired treat featuring creamy pistachio, crispy kadayif and iconic Hershey's Milk Chocolate,” the company said.
However, the retailer said that the LTO “isn’t going into regular production,” and it will only be making 10,000 bars.
“Dropping December 4 at 10 a.m. ET, the $8.99 Hershey's Dubai-Inspired Chocolate Bar will be available through Gopuff in New York, Philadelphia and Chicago. Wanna grab it IRL? Head to Hershey's Chocolate World in Times Square to catch the live countdown outside to the drop. First come, first served,” Hershey said.
"Not every trend gets the Hershey's treatment," said Megan Pantalone, senior manager, innovation at The Hershey Company. "When something takes over social media like this, we knew it deserved a one-of-a-kind release. That's why we kept it exclusive—only 10,000 bars total. Once they're gone, they're gone forever. This is for collectors, trend hunters and anyone who wants to say they got one."
Over at Kellanova, the company is rolling out its festive packaging for the holidays, including:
-
RXBAR: “Balance holiday indulgence with a little extra goodness. RXBAR's limited-edition Gingerbread bar is packed with 12g of protein and wholesome ingredients, wrapped in the warm, nostalgic flavor of gingerbread.”
Mars is also rolling out holiday options this winter: M&M's Winter Blend, Twix Snowmen and Life Savers Gummies holiday shapes. The Hershey Company is also releasing a new holiday lineup, which includes Hershey's Kisses Snickerdoodle Cookie Candy, Kit Kat Peppermint Stick, Reese's Mini Trees and Hershey's Grinch Milk Chocolate Bar.
