Buc-ee’s is set to officially break ground soon on its first Wisconsin location in Oak Creek, reported local news outlet WISN. The second possible Wisconsin location in DeForest is still being discussed as “village officials in DeForest say they're pushing for more legislation to fund interchange upgrades for a second potential location north of Madison,” the outlet wrote.

Brew Oil recently acquired 13 gas stations and one smoke shop from DanLee Corp. in Iowa, a broker for the deal told NACS. The source said Brew Oil will be “putting in significant capex into these stores and branding them Brew Oil.” Brew Oil is owned by Inder Singh and has locations in Iowa and Kansas. The deal closed on October 29.
Rutter’s will host a grand opening event for its first Virginia location this week, the retailer said in a LinkedIn post. The location opened in October of this year, and features a beer cave, Rutter’s Made For You food and a 1747 Bar & Lounge, the retailer’s 21+ destination offering nearly 75 alcoholic beverage options, including canned cocktails, spiked slushies, beer and wine.
“We’ve been serving the community and now it’s time to officially celebrate! Join us this Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 1510 Coverstone Drive, Winchester, Virginia, for our grand opening event. Refuel recently opened a new location in Conway, South Carolina, according to a LinkedIn post from the company.
“This new store marks another milestone in our continued growth across the Conway and Myrtle Beach areas. Each new Refuel location brings us closer to the communities we serve, offering convenient access to fresh snacks, cold drinks and quality hot food selections. A huge thank you to our incredible Refuel team members and vendor partners who made this opening possible,” the retailer said in the post.
Royal Farms is hosting a grand opening for its newest location in California, Maryland, on December 22, 2025. Located at 23344 Three Notch Road, “this brand-new store will provide 24/7 access to high-quality, fresh food, fuel and convenience items, continuing Royal Farms' mission of delighting the communities it calls home,” the retailer said. The new location will feature 12 fuel dispensers, a car wash and made to order food.
