Wally’s is launching a new line of camping gear in collaboration with camp brand Wandawega. “We are thrilled to announce our new collaboration with iconic camp brand Wandawega. At Wally's, where we celebrate ‘The Great American Roadtrip,’ we've crafted a nostalgic line of camping gear, tools and toys that evoke the magic of our 1970s childhoods,” according to a Wally’s press release.
Wally’s new line also has flying discs, tackle boxes, fishing vests and paddleball sets—timeless summertime essentials that are always in style, the retailer said.
“Whether you’re angling for a big catch or just soaking up the sun with a cold drink in hand, we’ve got you covered for all your camp adventures. Camp isn’t just a destination; it’s a cherished tradition, a slice of history we all hold dear. It’s our home away from home, a reminder that whenever you feel lost, the best way back is to return to camp,” Wally’s said.
Back in July, Wally’s announced it would open a new store in Whitestown, Indiana, in the greater Indianapolis area—the first in the state for Wally’s.
According to the Indianapolis Star, the new location will be a 45,000-square-foot center with over 80 fueling and EV charging stations on 14 acres of land. The location is roughly 24 miles northwest of downtown Indianapolis.
The new location is expected to open in the fall of 2025. Originally, the Whitestown travel center had been expected to open in late 2024, according to the Star.
