Casey’s team members hit the road last week with WesleyLife Meals on Wheels to kick off a partnership between the two companies. The volunteers distributed meals, cards and flags ahead of the July Fourth holiday.

On LinkedIn, the company wrote: “This new partnership will bring over 16,000 meals to veterans and older adults, and Casey's will fuel the Meals on Wheels fleet of vehicles that gets these meals out into the community. This hard-working fleet transports more than 250,000 home-delivered meals a year, tallying more than 230,000 miles in 2023.”

The retailer also took to social media to highlight its disaster relief efforts after flooding hit the community in North Sioux City, South Dakota last week, destroying many residents’ homes and roads. The local Casey’s team donated over 60 pizzas and 10 dozen donuts to feed the community.

District Manager Jana McKay wrote: “Store Manager Renee and her team have been working long hours and working with the community to help. From helping truckers navigate through the unexpected interstate closures, to feeding volunteers, city workers and EMS, to being a safe place for the community. This team has risen to the occasion.”

Earlier this year after devastating tornadoes tore through the Midwest, Casey’s launched a roundup campaign at Casey’s stores across Iowa, Nebraska and Oklahoma, supporting the American Red Cross and made a $10,000 donation to the organization.
