July 14 is National Mac and Cheese Day, and Pilot has created two new flavors for the occasion. The flavors include a Buffalo Chicken Mac Bowl and a Chicken Bacon Ranch Bowl.

Pilot is also running a buy one, get one for $1 deal on the new loaded mac and cheese bowls for myRewards Plus app users.

In addition to macaroni and cheese, Pilot also added the Pilot Big Dog (a half-pound hot dog measuring one foot in length, wrapped in pizza dough and topped with garlic butter), Nashville Hot Wings, a Spicy Italian Pizza and a Southwest Salad to the menu.

"Drivers can count on us for delicious and convenient food that doesn't just fill them up but enhances the travel experience and brings joy to their journey," said Jamie King, vice president of food and deli operations for Pilot.

Noodles & Company is also joining in on the National Mac and Cheese Day celebration, with four new macaroni and cheese flavors joining the lineup: a Four Cheese Alfredo Mac, Cheesy Broccoli Mac, Crispy Jalapeno Mac and Korean Meatball Mac and Cheese.

The bowls will be available for $5 to Noodles Rewards members on July 14.
