Cubby’s Raise Some Dough program, which supports educational and athletic programs across Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota through funds raised from pizza purchases in stores, recently presented a Raise Some Dough check to Gothenburg Junior and Senior High School in Nebraska.
“We were joined by Principal Seth Ryker to celebrate this meaningful partnership. The funds raised will go directly toward recognizing the everyday heroes in education—the dedicated teachers and staff who go above and beyond to support student success,” the retailer said.
In addition to celebrating faculty, Cubby’s said the Raise Some Dough contribution helps enhance quarterly student celebrations through the school’s Renaissance program, “making room for moments of encouragement, motivation and school spirit that go beyond the traditional classroom experience.”
The Wills Group, parent company of Dash In stores, recently donated more than $50,000 to the Folk Memorial Park project in Newark, Delaware, it said in a LinkedIn post.
“This project is a result of a lot of hard work and collaboration with local community members. We're kicking things off this month and will be enhancing a 0.4 mile long walking path, planting a robust garden with herbs, flowers, pollinator beds and fruit trees. All of which are being executed in partnership with the City of Newark Parks and Recreation Department and Ruppert Landscape,” the group said.
QuickChek recently held its Annual QuickChek Golf Outing, according to a LinkedIn post.
“[It] was another unforgettable day on the green—filled with friendly competition, generous hearts and a whole lot of QuickChek spirit! This year, we proudly supported Alternatives, Inc. and America's Grow-a-Row, with both organizations joining us on-site to share how this event directly fuels their missions,” the retailer said in the post.
Texas-based Toot’n Totum raised over $78,000 to support flood victims from the July flash flooding, the retailer said in a LinkedIn post.
“Because of you, hope is rising in Kerr County. Thank you to our incredible guests, we raised $78,719.08 for flood relief efforts through the Change for the Better campaign supporting the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country in their mission to provide aid, shelter and recovery for those impacted. Your generosity made this possible. You didn’t just round up, you made a real difference for our fellow Texans,” the retailer said.
