As the holiday season gets underway, QSRs are offering a variety of special offerings to get in the spirit.
Chick-fil-A has announced a variety of festive food, merch and even a holiday film this season. On November 13, the peppermint chip milkshake is returning to the menu, along with two new peppermint beverages. Chick-fil-A is also offering a peppermint iced coffee, which “features a custom blend of cold-brewed coffee and 2% milk, sweetened with pure can syrup and peppermint syrup,” as well as a frosted peppermint chip coffee, which “combines a custom blend of cold-brewed coffee, peppermint syrup, the signature Chick-fil-A Icedream dessert and crunchy peppermint bark chips.”
The QSR also launched limited-time holiday merch lineup that features 18 clothing items, accessories and Chick-fil-A themed stocking stuffers. Some of the merch items are sold exclusively online, while others are sold only in-store.
Pennycake, Chick-fil-A's new original kids-and-family brand, launches a collection of games and activities online November 15. Additionally, the company is releasing a 10-minute animated film on November 13.
For the rest of the year, Wendy’s is offering an in-app free six-piece nuggets offer with any purchase every Wednesday. Customers can redeem the Wendy’s Wednesday offer in-app, online or scan the digital Wendy’s Rewards offer code in restaurant.
KFC launched two new menu items along with a new holiday bucket design and matching holiday merch collection. On November 12, a mac-and-cheese wrap joins the KFC wrap lineup. KFC also will the Colonel’s Homestyle Brownie that can be added to any bucket meal or the $20 Fill Up Box for $5.
Many of KFC’s bucket meals will come in the Special Recipe of Joy holiday bucket beginning November 12. Additionally, the $20 Fill Up Box will come in a holiday box featuring the 2023 design. The matching holiday merch collection includes sweaters, hoodies, hats, bags and more as well as a special KFC gravy-inspired shirt.
7-Eleven also dove into the holiday season with its line of holiday beverage flavors, including the new peppermint bark coffee and caramel macchiatos, available now until the end of 2023. Additionally, the company is rolling out new “wintry cups.”
