North Carolina-based Minuteman Food Mart recently announced its “Free Gas for a Year” holiday sweepstakes.

“One Minuteman Food Mart Rewards member will receive the grand prize of free gas for an entire year. Rewards members are automatically entered when they scan their Minuteman Food Mart Rewards app during qualifying in-store purchases,” the retailer said in a press release sent to NACS.

The gas giveaway coincides with the retailer’s “12 Days of Thanks,” where all active Minuteman Food Mart Rewards members will receive one free item each day. A new complimentary item will appear in the Minuteman Food Mart Rewards app every morning from December 13-24, and members can redeem it by scanning the app in-store. Giveaway items include drinks, snacks and more.

Minuteman Food Mart also announced the winner of its “ONE APP! ONE WILD RIDE” sweepstakes. Allen Price, a Minuteman Food Mart Rewards app member, has been awarded a brand-new 2025 Ford Bronco as the grand prize, the retailer said.

The official vehicle presentation took place on December 4, 2025, at Minuteman Food Mart Store #216 in Seven Springs, North Carolina. The keys to the 2025 Bronco were presented to Price by Wesley Campbell, retail and foodservice division president, during a celebratory event.

“The sweepstakes was launched to celebrate the continued growth of the Minuteman Food Mart Rewards app, which offers customers exclusive discounts, fuel savings and special promotions to enhance their convenience-store experience,” the retailer said.

In other recent Minuteman Food Mart news, in August of this year the retailer held a grand opening of its newest store in Vass, North Carolina, marking the brand’s 64th location across the Carolinas. Earlier this summer, it launched a Carolina Combo LTO, with pulled pork and chips and soft drink from local suppliers.
