GPM Opens 2022 Dr Pepper College Football Championship Sweepstakes

The grand prize is a trip for two to the SEC Football Championship Game in Georgia.

RICHMOND, Va.—GPM Investments, a wholly owned subsidiary of ARKO Corp., announced its 2022 College Football Champion Sweepstakes, sponsored by Dr. Pepper. Participants over 21 years old are eligible to enter now through November 1. 

To enter, participants can scan the QR code found in participating GPM stores in 28 states and fill out an entry form. Participants can also enter by texting PEPPER to 737737 or mailing an official entry form.

Winners will be selected by a random drawing of entrants from GPM stores nationwide on November 2. Prizes include:

  • The Grand Prize: A trip for two to the SEC Football Championship Game at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Georgia on December 3, including round-trip flights, accommodation, a welcome gift, pre-game party pass and transportation.
  • First Prize: A trip for two to the Big Ten Football Championship Game at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indiana on December 3, including round-trip flights, accommodation, a welcome gift, pre-game party pass and transportation.
  • Second Prize: A trip for two to the Big 12 Football Championship Game at the AT&T Stadium in Texas on December 3, including round-trip flights, accommodation, a welcome gift, pre-game party pass and transportation.

Fast-growing ARKO Corp. recently announced that its GPM Investments subsidiary has agreed to acquire from Transit Energy Group (TEG) roughly 150 convenience stores, fuel supply rights to about 200 dealers, commercial, government and industrial customers, plus Transit Energy Group’s bulk storage, distribution and transportation assets in the Southeastern U.S. The deal is valued at about $375 million and will grow ARKO’s portfolio to more than 1,530 convenience stores.

In July, GPM closed its acquisition of 121 branded and 63 contracted cardlock sites and 46 independent dealer locations from Quarles Petroleum. It was GPM’s 21st acquisition in 10 years.
