Kum & Go to Add 900+ Store Positions

The hiring drive is part of the retailer’s new fresh-foodservice program and expansion into new markets.

DES MOINES, Iowa—Kum & Go is looking to add over 900 new store positions this year to fill spots in the family-owned convenience retailer’s refreshed brand and new fresh foodservice program, existing markets and new c-stores in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Grand Rapids, Michigan, later this year.

Kum & Go launched its refreshed brand and new fresh-food program last year in Little Rock, Arkansas, and Omaha, Nebraska. The new menu includes made-to-order items like grain bowls and stackers, featuring premium meats and vegetables. The Des Moines and Ames markets are currently being transformed.

The convenience retailer plans to continue its expansion in 2023, entering Boise, Idaho.

Openings will be for all store roles and will focus on foodservice positions at all levels, manager, full-time and part-time staff.

Kum & Go offers competitive wages, ranging from $14 to $17 per hour for full-time store associates in the Des Moines and Ames markets.
