Binghamton, N.Y.—Mirabito announced its fourth quarter campaigns for charity totals. Mirabito Cares contributed $10,000 to the Foundation for Women’s Cancer, $35,000 to the Southern Tier Veterans Support Group, $35,000 to Operation Homefront Foundation and $4,500 to the Salvation Army of Binghamton. The donations were a result of employee efforts and the generosity of customers from October to December 2021.

“Over the past few months, our Mirabito Convenience Store Team has stepped up in a big way to help others and the response and generosity that Mirabito customers have shown is admirable, to say the least,” said Joe Mirabito, chairman and CEO.  “We choose to support these organizations because each of them makes a difference for local people and we are thankful for their efforts. Now, more than ever, it is important to realize the positive impact we can make when everyone works together toward common goals.”

Each month in the last quarter of 2021, Mirabito Cares partnered with a local organization to raise funds and awareness in support of their missions. The programs included the “Pink Lid” coffee campaign benefitting the Foundation for Women’s Cancer in October, “Round-Up for Veterans” in November for the STVSG and Operation Homefront Foundation, and the Mirabito Gift Card “Give a Gift, Give Back.” campaign in conjunction with the Salvation Army of Binghamton in December.
