SYRACUSE – Fastrac announced earlier this week that since launching in 2008, its loyalty program has saved customers more than $5 million.

Fastrac’s loyalty program offers a 7-10 cents discount for each gallon of gasoline purchased with the company’s Fastrac Member Card. Payments are drawn directly from the card owner’s bank account, bypassing traditional credit cards and their interchange fees.

With its demonstrated savings, Fastrac is making an appeal to entice new enrollees, offering double discounts for the first sixty days after enrollment. The result? An instant savings of 14 cents on each gallon of gas purchased Monday through Saturday, and 20 cents on Sundays.
