Calendar with Flexible Schedule

ALEXANDRIA, Va.—NACS is continuing its HR summer series of webinars with its second webinar next week on flexible and innovative scheduling.

Workers can struggle to balance their jobs with child-care or other family duties, so savvy retailers are finding new ways of being flexible to meet employee needs as well as the needs of the business. Half-shifts for employees who are willing to work but have limited availability, setting shift changes outside of rush hour to cut down on travel time or authorizing employees to work at multiple locations are just a few options.

The webinar will allow retailers to hear from leading retailers about how they have implemented flexible and unique scheduling arrangements for their employees. Leaders include Eric Lindstrom, head of labor and team optimization, Circle K; Mansoor Rasheed, senior manager, human resources, United Pacific; Matt Spackman, chief people officer, Kum & Go.

The webinar “Flexible and Innovative Scheduling” is happening Wednesday, June 15, 2-3 p.m. EDT. Register today!

NACS’ HR summer webinar series is $49 for all three webinars in the summer series. Attendees earn one credit hour from HRCI and SHRM for each webinar attended (up to three hours in total). Once retailers purchase the series, they will have access to all three webinars, including recordings of previous webinars.

Links to join the webinars will be sent to attendees via email within 24 hours of registration. HREC members get complimentary access to the series.
