NORTHFIELD, Ohio –
The
Rock Stop Gas & Car Wash opened this week in Northfield, Ohio, with six
gas pumps and a more than 3,600-square-foot car wash, Cleveland.com
reports. Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park developed the site.
Mark Birtha,
president of Rocksino, which is owned by Milstein Entertainment and Hard Rock
International, said that two other gas stations with car washes will open at
other Hard Rock locations. “We thought people would enjoy a clean car,” he
said. “And on the flip side, who doesn't need gas? It's an easy opportunity to
reinvest and add jobs.”
The fuel pumps
have LED TV screens too. The car wash will offer half price washes during “Car
Wash Happy Hour” from 2 pm to 5 pm each day through the end of October.
Inside, the
convenience store sells Hard Rock merchandise, and a Pepsi Spire digital
fountain serves more than 180 flavor combinations, as well as Hard
Rock-flavored slushes. Rocksino loyalty card holders can receive discounts at the
pump of 5, 7 or 10 cents off per gallon. The station is next the expanded
Rocksino gambling area that also has a 24/7 bistro onsite.
