Wills Group, parent company of Dash In stores and Splash In car washes, distributed more than $1.2 million dollars in philanthropic grants in 2025 to nonprofit partners across Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and North Carolina, according to the company’s annual community engagement impact report, “100 Years of Moving People Forward.”

The retailer supported 52 local organizations through grants, sponsorships and in-kind contributions; contributed more than 640 team member volunteer hours in partnership with local nonprofits and community initiatives; and raised over $436,000 at the annual Blackie Wills Golf Classic to support the Blackie Wills Community Leadership Fund.

“With a planned expansion into North Carolina in 2026, Wills Group and Dash In have already provided a $50,000 grant to Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina in Charlotte to support emergency flood relief efforts following Hurricane Helene, helping distribute 350,000 pounds of food to families across 14 affected counties,” the retailer said.

Meanwhile, Love’s Travel Stops recently wrapped up its Share the Love volunteer event, according to a LinkedIn post.

“Throughout the week, #TeamLoves volunteered across Oklahoma City and Houston, making a tangible impact in the communities we serve. Love’s also donated $120,000 to nonprofit organizations across the country. We’re grateful to our team members and employees who continue to lead by example and show what it means to give back,” the retailer said in the post.

Wawa teamed up with Special Olympics Maryland for an in-store fundraiser, running through March 1, according to a LinkedIn post from Special Olympics Maryland. Customers will be able to add a donation of $1, $3 or $5 at checkout.

Mirabito Energy Products, parent company of Mirabito Convenience Stores, said its inaugural Gallons For Good program raised $7,000 for the Upstate Foundation in New York through Mirabito customer rewards donations, along with a direct contribution from Mirabito.

The retailer said Gallons For Good was designed to make giving back simple, accessible and meaningful. “Through the Mirabito MyAccount Portal and Mobile App—where customers manage their accounts, pay bills and view rewards—customers could choose to donate earned Mirabito Rewards either as a one-time gift or on a recurring basis. Those reward points were then converted into dollars and donated to the Upstate Foundation, in support of Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital,” it said.
