TravelCenters of America (TA), part of the BP portfolio, recently opened two new TA Express locations in Wendover, Nevada, and Carlin, Nevada. “Strategically positioned along I-80, these sites provide fast, reliable and comfortable stopping points for professional drivers and travelers moving through northern Nevada,” the company said in a press release.

The Wendover location features 153 truck parking spaces, 20 gasoline lanes and eight diesel lanes with DEF, as well as Sbarro’s, Bojangles, Del Taco, Black Bear Diner, an on-site deli and a retail store with snacks, beverages and merchandise.

The Carlin location has 50 truck parking spaces, 12 gasoline lanes and five diesel lanes with DEF. It also features Bojangles, an on-site deli and a retail store with snacks, beverages and merchandise.

Love’s opened a new location this week in Mandeville, Louisiana. The newest travel stop is Love’s first location on Interstate 12 and adds 125 truck parking spaces to Love’s network. The store includes Love’s fresh food items such as sandwiches, salads, wraps and fresh-cut fruit prepared on-site daily, Godfather’s Pizza and Hardee’s.

The new travel stop has space for EV chargers allocated. The company said it could quickly partner with local utility companies and install EV charging stations should there be customer demand.

In honor of the grand opening, Love’s will donate $2,500 to Lakeshore High School, $2,500 to the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Louisiana and $5,000 to the Manning Family Children’s Hospital. In addition, Love’s district managers work with eligible nonprofits in their area to make donations through community grants on an annual basis.

Love’s opened its first store of 2026 in Alamosa, Colorado, earlier this month. In February, Love’s mapped out its 2026 growth plan, with goals to add 20 new stores, remodel 35 existing stores, add 100 EV charges, expand its foodservice offer and more.

Sheetz celebrated the opening of its latest store in Limerick, Pennsylvania last week with a grand opening event, where customers received free self-serve coffee and soda. Sheetz also offered giveaways to attendees that included $250 in Sheetz gift cards.

“Over the past several years, we have received a significant number of inquiries from Montgomery County residents eager to see our premium convenience brand make its way to their community,” Adam Sheetz, executive vice president of operations, said at the event.

To celebrate, Sheetz presented a $2,500 donation to Philabundance, a nonprofit that distributes food throughout nine counties in southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey, as well as a $2,500 check to the Special Olympics of Pennsylvania.
