Parkers Kitchen recently presented a $215,000 round-up campaign check to Union Mission as part of the company’s campaign to benefit Parker’s House for Women.

“Parker’s Kitchen matched 25% of all customer donations during the company’s round-up campaign, which ran from July 5 through October 31, to maximize the impact for women in need. In addition, the company delivered clothing, toiletries and other items donated by Parker’s Kitchen team members as part of the company’s donation drive to support Parker’s House residents,” the retailer said.

According to the company, Parker’s House for Women is the only emergency housing program along the I-95 corridor between Florida and South Carolina dedicated solely to helping unaccompanied women experiencing homelessness and providing wraparound services for women in need.

Pennsylvania-based Nittany MinitMart recently wrapped up a campaign that raised $22,169.25 for The Jared Box Project, the retailer told NACS.

Nittany MinitMart said The Jared Box Project is a nonprofit that delivers boxes filled with toys, games and activities to children in hospitals. The retailer’s campaign invited customers to round up their purchases at checkout or purchase special donation cards.

“This shows just how generous our customers and team are,” said Nicole Masullo of Nittany MinitMart. “Every little bit added up, and knowing that this donation will brighten the days of so many children made this fundraiser really special.”

Global Partners announced its Cheers for a Cause campaign, which it said will “make the holidays more meaningful, one drink, one choice and one donation at a time.”

This seasonal program, created by Global Partners in partnership with Coca-Cola, invites members of the Bee’s Knees Benefits loyalty program to support a charitable cause each week by selecting a nonprofit and enjoying a free participating Coca-Cola beverage. For every participation, Global donates to the chosen charity throughout the season.

Members can choose to support one of the following charities: Classroom Champions, Haulin’ for Hunger and Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital. After selecting a charity, members will receive a free 20 oz Coke, Sprite or smartwater in their loyalty account. For each selection, Global will make a donation to the chosen charity with a goal of contributing $50,000.

This year’s program is available at all Bee’s Knees Benefits participating locations across the Northeast, Virginia and Texas, including Alltown Fresh, Alltown, XtraMart, Jiffy Mart, Honey Farms, Wheels and Millers, according to Global Partners.
