Hunt Brothers Pizza announced that it has partnered with over 10,000 locations across 33 states to serve its pizza.
“We are so grateful to everyone that has helped make this significant milestone possible. This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our valued team members, store partners, and vendor partners, whose commitment to excellence has made our continued growth and success possible,” said Scott Hunt, CEO of Hunt Brothers Pizza. “As we look forward to 2025, our priority remains to be a blessing to people by delivering a quality Hunt Brothers pizza at a fair price.”
Founded in 1991, the branded pizza program has grown over the last three decades, according to Hunt Brothers Pizza, “by helping store partners achieve a swift return on investment through a low labor foodservice program.” The company said that it is proud to help convenience stores cater to underserved communities that may have limited access to quality hot food options.
“Hunt Brothers Pizza remains family-owned with the next generation of the Hunt family, ensuring the brothers’ core mission remains the same, while sustaining growth for years to come,” the company said.
Three billion pizzas are sold in the United States each year, and 93% of Americans say they eat pizza at least once a month, according to the National Association of Pizzeria Operators.
In the January 2024 NACS Magazine article “Predicting Pizza,” Dee Cleveland, Hunt Brothers Pizza’s director of marketing, said that for consumers, the crust is becoming just as important as the toppings.
“It used to be that crust was stuffed with just cheese. Now you can find cheese and pepperoni in your stuffed crust, and then there’s deep-dish, Detroit-style, there’s all sorts of crust coming out. You now can put the butter and garlic and everything else on your crust,” she said.
