The Hershey Company is gearing up for the holiday season with the launch of new treats. The new items include:
- Kit Kat Milk Chocolate Santas: The Hershey Company said that for the first time ever, Kit Kat brand is offering snack-sized shapes. The Santas combine the classic Kit Kat crunch with layers of crispy wafers and milk chocolate.
- Reese's Peanut Butter Cups Sugar Cookie: Hershey combined two holiday treats in one with the Reese's Peanut Butter Sugar Cookie Cup. “Specially created to showcase the classic flavor and texture of sugar cookies, the cookie pieces are stuffed within the creamy peanut butter that Reese's products are known and loved for,” according to Hershey’s.
"Hershey has always been at the heart of holiday traditions, offering a wide range of products that bring families together," said Heather Seamans, senior manager, holiday marketing at The Hershey Company. "This year, we're introducing new flavors and shapes like Kit Kat Milk Chocolate Santas and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups Sugar Cookie that reflect the playful spirit of the season, bringing even more joy to holiday moments."
Meanwhile, Peeps is featuring holiday shapes including marshmallow snowmen, marshmallow trees, gingerbread men, stockings, a holiday vanilla crème-flavored pop, and a candy cane-flavored marshmallow chick, according to a press release from Just Born.
Mike and Ike Candy will see the return of its Merry Mix, said Just Born. The Merry Mix features “festive packaging and a blend of flavors in seasonal colors including holiday punch, cherry, and lime.”
Earlier this month, The Hershey Company announced its Kit Kat and Jolly Rancher brands are partnering with Nintendo of America for limited-edition Kit Kat bars and Jolly Rancher gummies packages.
The limited-edition Kit Kat bar packaging features characters from the Super Mario Bros. Wonder game, including Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Daisy, Princess Peach, Bowser, and Elephant Mario.
The Jolly Rancher gummies packaging features characters from the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game, including Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Princess Peach, Bowser, and Donkey Kong.
