7-Eleven is releasing a new, limited-time flavor for 7-Select Replenish: Caramel Apple. According to a press release, “Caramel Apple has the taste of a favorite autumn treat in every sip—crisp, sweet apple is blended with smooth caramel flavor to create an indulgent and refreshing product.”

"With its exciting blend of flavors, Caramel Apple embodies the spirit of autumn,” said Nikki Boyers, vice president, private brands and emerging brands at 7-Eleven Inc.

As Nation’s Restaurant News explained in September, “Chains ranging from Cracker Barrel to Caribou Coffee and, yes, also Starbucks, have added apples to their seasonal drink lineup this year, usually paired with caramel, both to help the fruit flavor liaise better with coffee—which Starbucks, Tim Hortons, and Caribou are doing—and also to evoke caramel apples, which operators say resonates with customers at this time of year. Other chains are adding apple flavors to tea, smoothies and energy drinks.”

7-Eleven also announced a packaging redesign for the 7-Select Replenish line of hydration beverages, with a focus on plastic waste reduction and transportation efficiency.

Meanwhile, 7-Eleven Inc.’s Laredo Taco Company restaurant added an LTO: Quesabirria. “Crafted with tender shredded beef and melty cheese, this culinary creation is served in a taco or bowl and paired with a rich consommé dipping sauce. Packed with the robust flavors of beef and spices, the warm consommé dipping sauce complements the crispy, cheesy tortilla for the ultimate dipping experience,” said 7-Eleven.

In addition, the Laredo Taco Company “fan-favorite tamales are back, just in time for the holiday season. Hand-wrapped in a fluffy masa and stuffed with a choice of seasoned pork or chicken, the cherished staple is available in family sizing for holiday gatherings,” according to a statement from 7-Eleven.
