Spinx Is Officially a Great Place To Work

The South Carolina convenience store earns the certification based on employee satisfaction.

With almost 1,500 employees nationwide, Spinx has been certified by Great Place To Work through employee feedback on culture and satisfaction within the company.

Great Place To Work is the industry leader in monitoring company culture, employee engagement and leadership behavior to encourage revenue, retention and innovation. According to Great Place To Work research, potential employees are 4.5 times more likely to find a “great boss” at a company that is certified with the organization.

“Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience," says Sarah Lewis-Kulin, the vice president of global recognition at Great Place To Work, in a press release from Spinx. “By successfully earning this recognition, it is evident that Spinx stands out as one of the top companies to work for, providing a great workplace environment for its employees."

Compared to only 57% of workers at similar U.S.-based companies, 98% of Spinx employees agree that it is a great place to work. Other high marks include:

  • 99% feel good about the ways they contribute to the community.
  • 98% believe management is competent at running a business.
  • 98% think that management has a clear vision of the direction of the company.
  • 98% are satisfied with the resources and equipment needed to do their jobs.
  • 98% experience equality in the workplace regardless of their position.
