Wawa Wants a Pizza That

The PA-based c-store is bringing pizza to its menu.

July 14, 2023

Wawa will be bringing pizza to the menu across every single Wawa store. The convenience retailer has previously experimented with different pizza options through the years, but will now be rolling out two sizes (14 or 16 inches) with the option to choose your toppings, similar to the process for ordering hoagies and other foods from their self-serve kiosks. Pizza will be available from 4 p.m. to 3 a.m.

Wawa is currently baking fresh pies in almost half of its locations. Lori Bruce, spokesperson for Wawa, says the goal is to reach all stores by the end of the month. She told the Courier Post newspaper of southern New Jersey that  “when the launch is complete, a campaign will be planned.”

The freshly made pizza will take about 20 minutes, and prices are starting at $12.99 for a plain 14-inch pie. Prices will vary with more toppings and a bigger size.

The c-store now has 1,000 stores in the Mid-Atlantic region with plans to expand south and west to states like Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Kentucky.
