7-Eleven Will Put One Customer in the Spotlight

The c-store is offering customers a chance to win an appearance in a music video to promote its summer of Slurpee.

Music company Lyrical Lemonade and music video director Cole Bennett are collaborating with 7-Eleven to bring one winner on the set of an upcoming music video for an artist yet to be announced. The winner will be an extra in the video and be allowed to hang out on set and enjoy their favorite 7-Eleven snacks during the day, according to a company press release.

Now through August 29, rewards members of 7-Eleven, Stripes and Speedway stores can enter to win by making a purchase of participating products in-store or through the 7NOW Delivery app. Items like Big Bite Hot Dogs, Slurpee drinks, coffee and all Celsius beverage varieties offer customers seven extra chances to win.

"We've been flowing with fun collabs all summer long—like the launch of our premium jewelry line with King Ice inspired by our iconic Slurpee drink, the launch of our first-ever music video, Anything Flows, and most recently celebrating our 96th birthday with free Slurpee drinks on Slurpee Day," said Marissa Jarratt, 7-Eleven executive vice president and chief marketing and sustainability officer.

"We can't wait to keep this momentum going with another first-of-its-kind collab. Our customers are major music fans…and Lyrical Lemonade is a certified hitmaker. We're thrilled to give one fan the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of their favorite artists,” Jarratt added.
