Kum & Go Launches New App, &Rewards Program

Customers now have the ability to choose how to redeem their rewards.

After the announcement earlier in the summer about a redesigned app and updated rewards program, Kum & Go officially launched its app on August 1.

The new Kum & Go app features a new rewards program and a robust e-commerce experience. The updated app will give the user a more personalized experience with shopping recommendations and favorite location options, according to a company press release. Mobile Fuel Pay, Kum & Go’s gas rewards program, will now give customers the option to prepay for gas.

“I am incredibly proud of our team for the largest product launch since we debuted the Kum & Go app in 2016,” said Tanner Krause, chief executive officer at Kum & Go. “We listened to our customers’ feedback and have developed a digital customer experience that delivers what they look for in an app and rewards program. The new Kum & Go app and &Rewards platform delivers a best-in-class experience for our most loyal customers.”

Among the new features within the app and the &Rewards program is the ability to choose how to redeem rewards. Customers can continue to earn points through purchases at Kum & Go but will now be able to redeem them as &Rewards Cash, which can be used with most in-store or in-app purchases, or as per-gallon fuel discounts at the pump.

“Our &Rewards members are our most engaged customers,” said Ryan Lindsley, vice president of marketing & digital strategy at Kum & Go. “We want to make sure that we are continuing to find new ways to reward them for their trust in us as their favorite convenience store.”

Users can update the app by visiting the app store on their device. For members who signed up before August 1, Kum & Go doubled their existing points as a ‘thank you’ for entering the new program.
