KNOXVILLE, Tenn.—Pilot Flying J announced the return of its fall coffee lineup: Cinnabon pumpkin spice cappuccino and bourbon pecan drip coffee.

The company is also introducing a new southern pecan cold brew with all-natural flavors with a touch of nutty sweetness. Additional fall offerings include a special edition, single origin, bean-to-cup coffee called Machu Picchu, Peru, and a pumpkin spice creamer. These limited-time fall flavors will be available at more than 650 participating Pilot and Flying J travel centers starting September 6 through October until supplies last.

"This fall, we are branching out and going beyond pumpkin with several autumn-inspired coffees to keep you going during your travels," said Jonathan Braatvedt, vice president of food and beverage for Pilot Flying J. "The bourbon pecan was a hit, and we are excited to bring it back along with the classics and some new flavors so there is something for everyone to enjoy."

Customers can stop by to try the company’s autumn-inspired coffee lineup and save with the myRewards Plus app, which includes weekly deals and discounts on everything from gas to beverages. Now through October 31, myRewards Plus members can save 10 cents on every gallon of gasoline at participating Pilot and Flying J travel centers. Earlier this month, 7-Eleven introduced its fall coffee lineup, offering a pumpkin spice latte and pumpkin spice coffee available at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores for a limited time.

"There's no denying that the Pumpkin Spice Latte is a quintessential fall drink—it's become a cultural phenomenon loved by coffee drinkers everywhere," said Dennis Phelps, 7-Eleven's proprietary beverages senior product director. "We like to take the Pumpkin Spice Latte one step further by encouraging our customers to take their cup of joe into their own hands with more than 3,000 ways to customize their beverage."

Many QSRs have already released their fall lineup. Krispy Kreme may have been one of the first, introducing two items—the Pumpkin Spice Latte Swirl Doughnut and Pumpkin Spice Iced Coffee. The items were available starting on August 8, and the doughnut chain said the release of the items were “earlier than ever.”

“Sure, pumpkin spice is generally associated with fall, but true fans of the flavor will agree that August is close enough! So, we’re pulling fall forward, enabling our guests to indulge and enjoy early with delicious pumpkin spice doughnuts and drinks, including our Pumpkin Spice Latte, which you can get iced or frozen, by the way,” said Dave Skena, global chief brand officer for Krispy Kreme, in a statement.

Dunkin’ released its fall lineup on August 10 with the return of Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte, its pumpkin bakery line-up and Maple Sugar Bacon. The chain also introduced new fall items including the Blood Orange Dunkin’ Refresher and Nutty Pumpkin Coffee.

Starbucks has yet to release its iconic pumpkin spice latte and other fall items, but the internet suspects the coffee giant will bring back its fall menu at the end of this month.
