Cubby’s ongoing Raise Some Dough campaign, which donates $1 for every large one-topping Godfather’s Pizza Express pizza or breakfast pizza sold, recently made a donation to local schools. At the end of the first quarter, the program had raised $216,651, the retailer said.

The campaign launched in June 2018 and now includes 18 Cubby’s stores across Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota.

The retailer said the funds directly support local schools and youth-serving organizations— from classroom materials to athletic equipment and spirit merch for students and faculty, the donations “help create more enriching environments for learning and growth,” Cubby’s said.

“We are proud of Raise Some Dough; it’s an ongoing way for us to support the communities we serve,” said DeLone Wilson, president of Cubby’s. “We are grateful to our customers for helping us support local schools and youth programming.”

Loop Neighborhood Markets is partnering with Special Olympics Northern California this June in support of its Summer Games. “We’re honored to contribute to such an incredible organization and help celebrate the strength, dedication and spirit of these amazing athletes. From cheering them on to supporting behind the scenes—we’re all in!” Loop posted on LinkedIn.

Meanwhile, Stewart’s Shops and the American Red Cross are “gearing up for a milestone 10th annual ‘Give a pint, Get a pint’ campaign, extending a program that has collected more than 104,000 blood donations since its inception in 2016,” according to Stewart’s.

The organizations have reportedly collected blood cells, platelets and plasma from nearly 61,000 donors over the last 9 years. During the month of June, Stewart’s Shops will offer a certificate for a free pre-packaged pint of ice cream or gelato to anyone who donates blood at a participating Red Cross location.
