OnCue recently donated $20,000 to support local schools, students and staff through its annual charitable cup campaign, according to a press release sent to NACS.
From July through September of this year, every charitable cup purchased at OnCue would provide 50 cents to each store's local school district.
The funds raised through the initiative will “help provide essential classroom supplies and support student programs across the 25 school districts OnCue serves,” the retailer said.
OnCue began the charitable cup campaign in 2018 and has raised more than $165,000 over the past eight years.
Tiger Fuel donated $25,000 to Camp Holiday Trails, a summer camp program for children and their families with medical needs, reported CBS19 News.
Tina LaRoche, the executive director of Camp Holiday Trails, said this money will go directly to allowing more kids to attend camp.
“Because of our loyal customers, we’re honored to support the joy, resilience and sense of belonging that Camp Holidays Trails creates for so many children and families across the region. Thank you for your loyalty so we can support the impactful mission of Camp Holiday Trails,” Tiger Fuel said in a LinkedIn post.
The Wawa Foundation recently announced that it has partnered with Feeding America “to help ensure equitable, dignified access to food across the U.S.,” according to a LinkedIn post from Philabundance. Through December 29, donations made during the “Check Out Hunger” campaign will support Philabundance and other Feeding America partner food banks.
Over at the McLane Company, the company announced that in 2025, McLane teammates, supplier partners and customers raised more than $1 million for organizations such as Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Folds of Honor North Texas and North Texas Food Bank.
Charitable initiatives that McLane hosted in 2025 included the annual McLane Retail Charity Golf Classic, the McLane Restaurant Charity Golf Classic and its inaugural Month of Giving in November.
