Citgo Raises Record $4.36 Million in 2025

The Wills Group and RaceTrac also recently gave back to their local communities.

Citgo Petroleum Corporation “shattered fundraising records in 2025, generating $4.36 million for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) to fuel research, expand care and bring hope to families living with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related neuromuscular diseases,” the company told NACS in a statement.

Citgo’s Houston locations led with $1.31 million from its corporate golf tournament and $96,628 from the Flamingo Bowl. Lemont, Illinois, contributed $1.29 million through golf and bowling, among other events.

In 2026, Citgo said it will celebrate 40 years of partnership with MDA with new fundraising efforts and community engagement.

The Wills Group, the parent company of Dash In stores, recently joined the Maryland Food Bank at the Pack to Give Back event, packing 10,000 boxes alongside 400 volunteers to help provide nutritious food for the one in three Marylanders facing food insecurity.

“This annual initiative brings together companies and community groups from across the state to pack thousands of holiday meals for families in need. We are proud to participate as a platinum sponsor at this year’s event. Thank you to all who came together to ensure a nourished holiday season for all,” the company said in a LinkedIn post.

RaceTrac recently hosted its first Touch-A-Truck safety event, “bringing together local first responders and community partners to educate families on fire and vehicle safety,” the retailer said in a LinkedIn post.

RaceTrac said it partnered with Once Was Inc. for a day of educational fun, offering free Swirl World frozen treats, drink coupons and music under the RaceTrac canopy.
