Vexxil Energy Operations, a division of Vexxil Energy Partners, announced a strategic alliance with Chevron Products Company, a division of Chevron U.S.A. Inc. According to a press release, the strategic alliance is expected to leverage the strengths of both companies to better serve the energy market in the Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi Gulf Coast regions.
Daphne, Alabama-based Vexxil Energy is “poised to become a leading fuel distributor serving companies, organizations, and governments along the Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi Gulf Coast regions. Vexxil Energy delivers innovative solutions for the most demanding energy procurement, supply and logistics challenges,” the company said. The company offers a range of products, including petroleum fuel products, renewable fuels, diesel exhaust fluid, specialty additives, facilities services, and data management tools.
The agreement paves the way for Vexxil Energy to distribute Chevron and Texaco products through its network, which includes Vexxil Energy and Vexxil Retail Operations. This news arrives on the heels of Vexxil Energy and 68 Ventures announcing their partnership and plans to build and operate a significant number of new-to-industry convenience stores throughout the region over the next several years.
"We are proud to partner with Vexxil Energy," said Erik Gebhardt, Chevron southeast district sales manager. "Their established presence and operational excellence make them an ideal ally for Chevron as we look to expand our footprint and better serve our customers across the Gulf Coast.”
“This announcement marks a significant accomplishment for all those involved,” said Joel Poe, founding partner, president, and CEO of Vexxil Energy. “Teaming up with Chevron will allow us to offer our customers access to quality energy products and leverage Chevron’s strategic assets along the Gulf Coast to ensure stable supply. Our mission is to support the communities and industries across the Gulf Coast with innovative energy distribution and logistics solutions. We are proud to have Chevron play a part in that.”
