New York-based Mirabito Convenience Stores launched a roundup campaign in partnership with the UHS Foundation’s Journey Campaign in support of the Wilson Main Tower. The Wilson Main Tower is an endeavor aimed at transforming healthcare in the Southern Tier with the addition of a new emergency and trauma center, helipad, inpatient MRI suite and 120 single-occupancy rooms with private bathrooms at UHS Wilson Medical Center.
From June 1 through July 2, 2024, customers will have the opportunity to round up their purchases inside Mirabito Convenience Stores to benefit the new tower.
Mirabito noted that the campaign helps the company contribute to advanced and innovative healthcare options in its local community.
“Most importantly, the goal of the Wilson Main Tower is to create an exceptional patient experience and enhance patient satisfaction with our medical and surgical services,” said John M. Carrigg, president and chief executive officer of UHS. “The new addition benefits the Southern Tier community in many ways, supporting the quality of care available and expanding our ability to recruit and retain outstanding healthcare providers.”
Krist Oil announced it is participating in Pumping For a Purpose with the Peshtigo Police Department on Sunday, June 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Local First Responder Fund, which helps police, fire and emergency medical services agencies improve public safety.
At the event, Krist Oil will donate five cents per gallon of 87 Octane purchased during the timeframe. Additionally, local officers and EMS will be pumping fuel for customers.
