Casey’s announced that its Cash for Classrooms grant program is now accepting submissions for 2024. The grant program supports projects and initiatives taking place at accredited K-12 public and non-profit, private schools across the 16 states where Casey’s operates.

According to the website, in 2023, Casey’s Cash for Classrooms grant program awarded $1 million to benefit K-12 public and non-profit, private schools through 79 grants. In total, Casey’s grant program has awarded over $3 million and nearly 300 grants to schools in its footprint.

“The Casey’s Cash for Classroom grant program has impacted hundreds of schools over the past three years. We’re looking for more ways we can support students and teachers in our communities,” said Katie Petru, director of communications and community.

Grant requests may range from $3,000 to $50,000 and can be used for a variety of projects and initiatives focused on physical improvements, material needs, teacher support and community engagement initiatives.

The deadline for submissions is November 30, 2023. The grants will be awarded in March of 2024.

This past July, Casey’s announced that through its partnership with Feeding America, the company donated over 30 million meals to people struggling with hunger in its local communities.

“At Casey’s, our purpose is to make life better for our communities and our guests every day—and this includes working alongside Feeding America and the 53 local food banks we assist to help those struggling with hunger," said Ena Williams, chief operating officer at Casey’s. “Food insecurity and availability present challenges for many in our communities. But through meaningful collaboration, community partnerships and the generosity of our guests, we will continue to make a positive impact for those who need it most.”
