Mars, Sheetz Recognized on Fortune’s 2017 Best Companies to Work for List

Both companies strive to reward employees for hard work and great service.

MCLEAN, Va. – Mars, Incorporated, has been named to the 2017 Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For list, compiled by the Great Place to Work, for the fifth consecutive year. The achievement recognizes Mars' commitment to its associates and the dedication, passion and creativity they bring to work each day.

With more than 25,000 U.S.-based associates serving the Petcare, Chocolate, Wrigley, Food, Drinks and Symbioscience segments, Mars is a leading U.S. employer. “Creating a great place to work has to start with offering an environment of respect and inclusiveness where associates can be themselves and thrive," said CEO Grant F. Reid, in a press release. "On top of that, we need to be agile in addressing the changing ways business gets done and the evolving needs of the talented people we hire."

Sheetz also snagged a spot (#87) on the 2017 Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For. “Sheetz is committed to investing in its people, rewarding employees, and attracting the best talent for the job, whether it’s in the distribution centers, kitchens, corporate office, or one of our store locations.
