Modisoft, a provider of back-office solutions for the convenience store industry, is launching new products tailored to independent operators. These new solutions, set to debut at the 2024 NACS Show in October, aim to “elevate operational efficiency and significantly increase revenue for c-store owners and operators,” said Safi Modi, head of growth at Modisoft.

According to Modi, the innovations include order management and lottery display, and “focus on bringing efficiency, improving sales and optimizing operations.”

“We are excited to present these forward-thinking solutions at the NACS Show 2024,” said Modi. "Each of these innovations emphasizes our commitment to empowering convenience store operators with tools that enhance efficiency, drive sales and deliver exceptional customer experiences."

The order management tool allows c-store owners to integrate orders from delivery platforms like Grubhub, DoorDash, Uber Eats and Cartzie directly into the Modisoft POS system.

“We are seeing an increase in online ordering in convenience stores. They are good pit stops for people to pick up quick orders or snacks,” said Modi.

He said this feature will help c-store owners manage multiple menus from different platforms in a single dashboard, build their online ordering presence to increase sales and consolidate online orders into one POS system.

“By working with an online ordering service of your choice, you can seamlessly integrate your menu onto their platform, enabling you to expand your reach and increase sales effortlessly. At Modisoft, our goal is helping them unlock new growth opportunities,” Modi said.

The lottery display turns the traditional lottery box display into a “sleek digital display that helps store owners grab customers' attention and boost sales,” said Modi. The improved lottery display allows for customized displays, an interactive display and an automated ticket inventory.

“Having more TVs and digital aspects will help independent retailers make their business look more aesthetic to the consumer,” said Modi.

The lottery display not only frees up space for products but also has the capability to run ads or promotions on the display and enhance customer engagement, Modi said.
