EVs Aren't The Only Game In Town
EVs have garnered all the attention while a host of other alt-fuels and related powerplants have moved quietly below the radar. Berlin is home to many alt-fuels retailers who see increasing value in continuing to invest in the technology along with the vehicle manufacturers who are equally committed. The conference will learn from bot the energy companies and vehicle manufacturers what the future has in store for drivers and convenience and fuels retailers.
The New Nicotine
Smokers and smoking is declining…while new nicotine delivery devices are becoming more accepted, popular, and profitable! Retailers and manufacturers discuss what's ahead in the "new nicotine category."
The Good Jobs Strategy
Conventional wisdom says that retailers must pay low wages and offer bad jobs in order to keep prices low. A "good jobs strategy" goes against this by presenting a case for investing in retail employees, and, in turn, receiving a strong return on that investment. It calls for retailers to make decisions that may seem counterintuitive.
