HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. -- Something crunchy is coming to stores across the United States this week. M&M’s is launching three brand-new, limited-edition flavors with its second Flavor Vote campaign: Crunchy Espresso, Crunchy Raspberry and Crunchy Mint. The new flavors are on sale at select retailers beginning this week and at retailers nationwide starting April 1. Fans can purchase and try each new flavor and cast a vote for their favorite once a day until May 25.

The M&M’s brand launched its first Flavor Vote in 2016 in honor of its 75th anniversary. With more than 1 million votes submitted, fans selected Coffee Nut as their favorite peanut-flavor to join Original Peanut on shelves.

“Building off the success and popularity of the 2016 M&M’s Flavor Vote, we wanted to engage our fans once again by empowering them to help decide the next crunchy flavor,” said Allison Miazga-Bedrick, brand director of M&M’s, in a press release. “We selected three new decadent flavors we believe our fans will enjoy, as they reflect the on-trend, unique and bold tastes growing in popularity across the United States.”

Each new M&M's flavor is made with dark chocolate and wrapped in the brand's signature colorful crispy shell, offering fans a chocolatey crunch in every bite. The Crunchy Raspberry variety features a regular rice crisp center, and the Crunchy Espresso and Crunchy Mint varieties feature a cocoa rice crisp center.

The brand expects to see another colorful but friendly competition put on by all of the Flavor Vote participants. The flavor with the most votes will be announced in August 2018 and continue to be sold at stores nationwide for an 18-month period.
