Starbucks’ latest menu launches today, January 6, and features new protein options, the return of pistachio and new seasonal bites.
The QSR announced that the “fan-favorite” pistachio latte and pistachio cream cold brew are back for the winter, along with a new pistachio Cortado. Also new to the menu are the iced Dubai chocolate matcha and iced Dubai chocolate mocha, inspired by the viral treat and customer creations.
The season also brings the debut of the new caramel protein matcha and caramel protein latte. Customers can also choose a new sugar-free caramel syrup, which will join Starbucks’ lineup of flavors available year-round.
The new truffle, mushroom and brie egg bites will also join Starbucks’ breakfast lineup for a limited time. Plus, Starbucks announced that the turkey bacon, cheddar and egg white sandwich—part of the year-round menu—will feature a new cherrywood-smoked turkey bacon and a more flavorful sharp white cheddar. The Valentine Cake Pop will also return to the winter menu as a seasonal treat.
Meanwhile, Dutch Bros launched a lineup of breakfast-inspired drinks, available at all locations while supplies last. The new drinks include:
- Maple waffle latte: a drink with salted caramel, cinnamon and white chocolate complete with Soft Top, caramel drizzle and raw sugar sprinkles. It is available as an iced latte, iced protein latte, Freeze or iced chai.
- Banana bread mocha with Soft Top: made with banana and hazelnut and covered with a layer of Soft Top. Available as an iced mocha, mocha Freeze or mocha cold brew.
- Smooth strawberry Rebel: an energy drink with strawberry and banana flavor mixed with Dutch Bros’ exclusive Dutch Bros Rebel energy drink and sweet cream. Customers can order it as a blended or iced Rebel, or an iced Lemonade for a non-caffeinated option.
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf announced its seasonal lineup, featuring two new beverage collections: Protein Lattes, “crafted for a functional boost,” and Mexican Chocolate beverages, “inspired by rich tradition and warm winter flavors.” The drinks will be available from January 7 to March 17.
The company’s first-ever protein lattes are available in vanilla, caramel and hazelnut and are made with espresso, steamed milk and a protein boost that makes all regular-sized beverages have a minimum of 20 grams of protein per serving.
The new Mexican Chocolate drinks blend “dark chocolate with notes of cinnamon.” The offerings include:
- Mexican chocolate hot latte: espresso and steamed milk with rich cocoa and cinnamon.
- Mexican chocolate iced latte: an iced version with bold espresso and spiced chocolate notes.
- Mexican chocolate ice blended drink: a frosty blend of chocolate, spice and espresso.
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is also offering a variety of in-app deals and recurring promotions throughout the winter window:
- Wellness Wednesday (January 7, 14, 21 and 28): $5 large size of any beverage from 12–6 p.m. (excludes beverage modifiers).
- Super Bowl “Fill the Tray” (February 2–8): 4 for $20 on any beverages (any size).
- Valentine’s Day Special (February 13–15): Any 2 beverages (any size) for $10.
- Loyalty Perks (January 7–March 17): Rewards members receive exclusive offers, tailored in-app deals and early access to seasonal items.
