Rutter’s Rolls Out Grilled Cheese Menu

The menu features eight various options, one of which was created by a Rutter’s team member.

Pennsylvania-based Rutter’s recently launched its “newly revamped grilled cheese menu. Introduced earlier this month, the crave-worthy lineup puts a bold, modern spin on a classic favorite,” the retailer said in a press release sent to NACS.

Rutter’s said the limited-time menu is available through March. It features a variety of grilled cheese creations, including “timeless favorites” like the turkey bacon grilled cheese and a breakfast lineup featuring grilled cheeses with bacon, ham or sausage paired with eggs and cheese.

The LTO menu features eight creations:

  • BBQ pulled pork grilled cheese: Smoky pulled pork layered with cheese.
  • Buffalo fried chicken grilled cheese: Crispy fried chicken tossed in buffalo sauce paired with cheese.
  • Steak grilled cheese: Tender steak paired with cheese.
  • Bacon and jalapeno grilled cheese: Smoky bacon balanced with spicy jalapenos.
  • Blazin’ bird grilled cheese: A fiery take featuring crispy chicken and bold heat.
  • Bacon grilled mac and cheese: Creamy mac and cheese with crispy bacon.
  • Bacon triple decker grilled cheese: Stacked high for the “ultimate bite and taste.”
  • Grilled cheese hot dog: “A playful twist combining two classics.”

“The grilled cheese hot dog is a perfect example of how we’re having fun with this menu,” said Phil Santini, senior director of foodservice and bar strategy. “It brings together two food favorites into one bold, crave-worthy bite. The idea came out of our legal team, which is unique, but also shows continued organizational creativity to create great food options!”

The retailer also expanded its winter soup offerings and now offers creamy tomato, chicken corn, chili, chicken pot pie and baked potato.

In other Rutter’s news, last month the retailer opened its 93rd location. Located in Ruffs Dale, Pennsylvania, the store is open 24 hours a day and features Rutter’s 1747 Bar & Lounge, featuring beer, wine and signature cocktails, along with food offerings. The space includes a TV display and multiple screens throughout.
