Energy Drinks Enter 2026 With New Flavors

Phorm Energy introduced Silver Lighting, while Monster Energy unveiled Monster Energy Strawberry Shot.

Anheuser-Busch’s Phorm Energy is kicking off the new year with its all-new Silver Lightning flavor.

The company said the new, permanent addition to Phorm Energy's lineup features “an energizing and refreshingly bright flavor profile with notes of bold citrus.” Silver Lightning is the fifth flavor in the Phorm Energy portfolio. Silver Lightning is available nationwide now.

To celebrate the launch, Phorm Energy is hosting a fitness challenge ahead of the NFL Superbowl in San Francisco on Saturday, February 7. Participants will “compete in speed, strength and agility circuits alongside high-energy beats from superstar DJ Disco Lines. Former professional football players and sports media personalities Will Compton and Taylor Lewan of Bussin' With The Boys and MMA star Michael Chandler will also be in attendance as hosts bringing the energy.”

Monster Energy recently introduced its new Monster Energy Strawberry Shot, a “bold and refreshing new way to enjoy the legendary OG Monster flavor, now with an added shot of strawberry that pumps up the taste without changing the DNA fans know and love.”

The company said the flavor idea was inspired by the popular dirty soda trend… “what if you took classic Monster and added just a shot of flavor on top? After testing a variety of combinations, one rose above the rest: the Strawberry Shot.”

In October, Monster Energy announced it was bringing its “hit European flavor” Bad Apple to the United States. The drink features “a wickedly crisp fusion of energy and flavor that delivers a nostalgic punch of apple goodness with that unmistakable Monster kick.”
