In partnership with Bite, Love’s Travel Stops has deployed intelligent kiosks in Arby’s restaurants across the country, according to a press release from the retailer. The retailer said large, tablet-like touch screen kiosks allow customers to place their food orders more quickly, and that self-ordering improves order accuracy and reduces operational costs.

The kiosks “seamlessly integrate with Love’s existing technology,” including order ahead in the Love’s Connect app, point of sale and loyalty rewards. My Love’s Reward members can input their information at the checkout for benefits.

The new technology is ADA compliant and supports a variety of language needs, Love’s said, with both English and Spanish options and images of all the menu items.

Love’s highlighted that the kiosks will help push seasonal promotions by highlighting LTO’s and offering recommendations to users.

“This technology doesn’t just improve the guest experience—it transforms our operations. By streamlining the ordering process, our team members can dedicate more time to food preparation, optimizing the customer experience and driving loyalty,” said Joe Cotton, vice president of food service for Love’s. “It’s another way Love’s helps customers get back on the road quickly.”

Love’s said it plans to bring Bite Kiosks to additional QSR concepts this year.

In other recent Love’s news, the retailer added new chipotle-flavored items to its menu in May, a spokesperson for Love’s told NACS. Now through August 31, Love’s will be serving chipotle chicken tacos, chipotle chicken and potato bowls and chipotle chicken salad wraps.
